At
the heat of the bar practicing fee controversy, one article published in the Daily Independent on Thursday March 14,
2013 became a hit. The article was carefully crafted with surgical precision.
That day, the fight to stop the exorbitant fee added more value. Abdulrasheed
Ibrahim…wrote the article which made many lawyers defy the copy right laws to
make copies for their files.
On
Monday, April 8 2013, another bold publication in the Moment Newspaper titled “Judiciary:
An Institution Under Siege” brought the affairs of the judiciary and
lawyers to the front burner. It was also written by Abdulrasheed Ibrahim, a
prolific writer who has consistently used his pen and time to educate the
public on the affairs of lawyers.
He
is widely published and has written about great law personalities like T.O.
Elias, Gani Fawehinmi and the first female Chief Justice of Nigeria, Aloma
Muktar. He has also written about Sir Justice Adetokunbo Ademola, J.I.C. Taylor
etc. Abdulrasheed …is a man whose pen has positively changed the way lawyers
are viewed.

Abdulrasheed
Ibrahim is a graduate of Usman Dan University, Sokoto. He was called to the
Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2002
and has since then been in active private law practice. He had his LLM degree
from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2010.He served as the Publicity
Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch between 2013 and 2015.
